General project description
The project to upgrade the offices of Investire SGR had the goal of ensuring the safety and continuity of business operations. This required a rapid, innovative and non-invasive solution, perfectly suited to a building situated in the heart of Milan, the ultimate smart city.
The work has led to a significant improvement in seismic performance as part of the building’s comprehensive refurbishment. Thanks to the ISAAC system, the building’s value has been further enhanced, offering an additional level of security to those who live and work there every day.
Why ISAAC
ISAAC was selected as the only company capable of offering a patented Active Mass Damper (AMD) technology that combines safety, speed, and minimal operational disruption. The AMD solution reduces seismic stresses by acting on the building’s dynamic response, with no need for invasive work on load-bearing structures or the interruption of commercial activities. Furthermore, the facades of this specific building are heritage-listed; the AMD technology enabled an external intervention, maintaining the building’s original structure without altering its appearance and thus preserving its condition.
